We are learning to grow a potato. We needed compost, gravel to put on the bottom so that the water doesn't drain out fast, blood and bone and soil. You also need a shovel and your spud. Make sure you put your spud in a sunny place and water it when the soil gets dry.

My name is Nelson and I am in Rimu Hub at Ormond School in Gisborne.
I think your potato in a bucket is great way to plant potatoes.
It made me think of when i planted potatoes with my nan.
Maybe you can add a bit more information about how long it took to grow.
Why did you make it?

Kia ora Nelson,
ReplyDeleteI am a student at Matawai School where the hills are high and the sky is the limit. Well the potato hasn't sprouted yet. We made it to raise money. Do you like eating potatoes? I do!
