The Dewy Fence

  1. Hi Phoebe,
What a beautiful photo. Did you take it? I love misty days-all those secrets hiding. Is that your hill poking its nose out? I wonder if it would be easier to read your writing if you changed the colour? Have a go.
Thank you for sharing your excellent diamante poem and photo.

  2. Hi Phoebe
I have always enjoyed writing Diamante poems and I think your poem and photo are an excellent example!
I love mornings when the blanket of mist lifts to unveil a beautiful day. Did the sun eventually come out once the mist had lifted or did it linger all day?

    1. Hi Liam,
Do you have frosts Hokitika? We have lots of frosts here in Matawai. I like it when the frosts go crunch under my feet. Do you?

  4. Hello Phoebe
I love the photo of a misty morning at Wairata that you have captured for the background to your excellent poem.
If you had not included a photo, the words you chose would have created a vivid picture in my mind as I read it. Looking forward to reading more of your wonderful writing Phoebe.
